巨蟹座为什么叫CANCER啊

应该说“癌症”这个词是从巨蟹座来的才对。

cancer这个词本来在拉丁语里面的意思是“蟹”的意思，也指天上的“巨蟹座”。

当人类首次发现癌症细胞的时侯发现它的形状跟“蟹”很像，所以就用了cancer一词来命名癌症了。

The astrological sign, of course, is said to resemble a crab, and the ancient Greek physician Galen noted the similarity between a certain type of tumor with a crab as well--the swollen veins around the tumor resembling the legs of a crab.
But despite a common origin, the two senses came into English via different routes. The name of the disease is older in English. Cancer (often spelled canker--the name of the ulcerated sore is etymologically the same as the name of the tumor), the disease, dates to about the year 1000.

The astronomical sign was introduced into English about 1391 and appears in Chaucer.
